  • 4 cups Corn Flakes
  • 1/2 cup white sugar (possibility to replace with splenda is also good)
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • For meringue:
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 egg yolks (keep the whites for later)
  • 2 tablespoon of flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla


  1. Crush the Corn Flakes lightly with your hands and mix with the other ingredients.Shape the crust into a pyrex dish with a wooden spoon.

For the meringue

  1. Put the flour, sugar, salt, mix well, add the milk and egg yolks, cook slowly, stirring constantly until thickened.Remove from heat and allow to cool.
  2. Flavour and pour over crust.Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt and 6 tablespoons of sugar.
  3. Bake over low heat (150oC) for 15 minutes
